About Sincere Aqua

Built by people who tried to
farm shrimp themselves

Sincere Aqua exists because we hit the same wall every shrimp farmer knows: you can't manage what you can't measure.

Our story

From a Danish shrimp farm to farms worldwide

In 2020, founders Fridi and Gustav set out to start Denmark's first shrimp farm. What they found was a gap that made profitable farming nearly impossible: the industry lacked scalable technology for something as fundamental as knowing how many animals you have.

So they pivoted. Instead of farming shrimp, they built the tools they wished they'd had — starting with automated counters that give farmers accurate population data at every stage of production. Every product since has been shaped the same way: by listening to farmers and solving the problems they actually face.

2020

The farm that started it

Fridi and Gustav attempt to build Denmark's first shrimp farm — and run head-first into the industry's technology gap.

The pivot

From farmers to toolmakers

Sincere Aqua is founded to build the precision-farming technology the industry was missing, guided by direct farmer feedback.

Today

Counting on farms worldwide

The SC-series counters and Sincere Aqua Cloud help farmers stock, feed and harvest on real numbers — with Sincere Aqua Ecuador S.A.S. in Guayaquil serving Latin America.

What we believe

Technology in service of farmers

Farmer-first

We build what farmers ask for, not what looks good in a brochure. Every feature traces back to a real problem on a real farm.

Data over guesswork

Profitable, scalable aquaculture runs on measurement. We turn the most basic unknown — population — into a number you can trust.

Sustainable growth

Right-sized stocking and precise feeding don't just raise profits — they reduce waste and keep animals healthier.

Danish engineering, pond-proven

Our counters are built in surgical-grade stainless steel, mounted on trailers, and validated on commercial farms — in 2026 field tests in Ecuador they averaged 97.6% counting accuracy and 99.34% transfer survival across 13.2 million shrimp. To stay close to those farms, our subsidiary Sincere Aqua Ecuador S.A.S. is based in Ecuador, with its head office in Guayaquil — the heart of the world’s largest shrimp-farming region.
